(My case). The mic comparison, and other recording components, was very helpful in allowing me to compare, side-by-side, same music. This by itself was worth my purchase. It also made me "smarter", or at least my ears were smarter. If you want to setup or select recording components, this will save you many hours of wasted effort.

He explains step by step, recommends many different tools and rates their importance and benefits for the result. Good tools that are cheaper and also high-end equipment is being recommended. Many little examples are played and recorded to compare the sounds of different equipment and different methods of recording. He speaks and plays in his personal "Nashville world" and displays lots of knowledge gained in local studios. Joe also gives examples what didn´t work well for him. To watch him play and record professionally is improving my own playing. As a bonus I`ve learned how to engage a world class mixing and/or mastering engineer for my recordings if I want to. Furthermore shows a cheap and easy way to upload my music to many streaming services. My questions were personally answered by Joe within one day. I´m really happy about this course! For me it is full of knowledge, motivation and inspiration.
