Higly recommended teacher I came to Tova Krakauer Coaching for help with the English and reading section. After just a few lessons, my score skyrocketed. I’d put in so much time and effort until that time into getting a score which was high enough, and only a little time after I started studying with Tova, I had it. I got into my dream school and was so happy to finally be done with the test. I really don’t think I could have done it without her. Highly recommended, she’s an amazing teacher for test preparation if you’ve been struggling or need an extra push to get the score you need.

Patient & Kind SAT Tutor I used Tova Krakauer Coaching to help me prepare for my SAT. We hadn’t been in school for a year because of Covid, so I was feeling really lost with the test preparation and felt like I really needed help. Tova is patient and kind, goes through each topic one step at a time and explains the ideas along the way, in a way I can understand. During the week between lessons, she would check in on me to see how I was doing with the assignments she gave me, and to ask if I needed help or direction. We worked mostly on the math section, but also a little bit on the reading section and on the writing grammar section. She was very supportive in a time when I needed it.

She explained each kind of question, the thought behind it, what they want, and how I should go about answering it. I was getting confused by the math section, and anything that has to do with seeing patterns or series. Tova helped settle my confusion, making the questions easier to answer and a lot less intimidating. I found Tova Krakauer Coaching online, so I wasn’t sure about it at first. But I was vey happy with my decision. She’s a great teacher.

Tova helped me identify patterns and figure out methods for each question type. She’s a very easygoing teacher and gives you specific direction on what to do at home between lessons, so you’re always working constructively and know how to use your time. She was also very good at making me less nervous, and adjusting her requirements when there was something special I needed. We had a great connection, and I would definitely work with her again.
