GBMy thoughts on Beat Academy Beat Academy has been a great addition to my music production education. From the library of resources, to the remakes, to the live listening feedback sessions, and even the community feedback. I've learned a ton from Ill Factor, and really like the way he teaches, and explains what he's demonstrating. I also really appreciate his desire to raise up other producers. It has been a safe place to grow and show my work, and ask questions. I also appreciate that Beat Academy has also addressed issues like creative ruts, self esteem and rejection. It's all been really valuable information. Beat Academy is a solid resource that I reach for again and again on my production journey.

NZWhy I have stuck with Beat Academy I had looked at some other music websites before and they were good, but I didn't hang with them. I came across Beat academy through a web search, signed up and have stuck with it since. Ivan is a very competent producer and a great teacher to go with it. I love his monthly song critique meets on line. whether your song or others are critiqued, I always learn a lot stuff I can be aware of and take to my own music. Ivan is passionate about what he does, loves encouraging people and is never disrespectful to any one. He is also honest and holds you to industry standards. the community is great to hang out with and is another source to encourage and receive encouragement from peers. B.A also provides opportunities to take on projects, collaborations and some professional opportunities. I could go on, but I don't want to write a novel. I would point any one who is serious about music production to sign up to Beat Academy.

GBQuality degraded compared to before Used to be great but now it's just a money making business. The subscription is 5 times more expensive than before, the platform itself (updated) is horrible compared to the forum it was based on before where you could really collaborate and communicate with artists in a simple and creative way. There's the content and video tutorials created by the founder IllFactor that are useful and all, but not really worth 500$ / year. Better save the money and invest in buying gear and tools to make music.

LUGreat online music production academy Great online music production academy, I learnt a lot with ill Factor, leading to official releases on streaming platforms. A lot of valuable tips and tricks, disseminated along very well structured courses, on a professional platform. Topics are covering all aspects producers must know if we are serious about it, without to say his great coaching skills making things easy to understand. :-) I could have never made it so far without Beat Academy!

CAExcellent Decision - Everything I Need To Keep Pushing Me. I really appreciate Beat Academy and the community. The instruction is excellent and having a community to bounce thoughts and questions off of is really great. Additionally the challenges constantly give me something to strive for. Really happy to be part of this community.
