Very useful course. Three years ago I enrolled in a "brick-and-mortar" TEFL course, which consisted of three distinct class, and cost 4-5 times as much as this course. I did not complete it as I had already secured a maths/EAP teaching position midway through the second course, and honestly needed the money more than I needed any additional knowledge at that point. Moving forward to this year, the 120 hour TEFL certificate is now required in order to work in China. So I chose to enrol in this course because I could do it at home at my own pace. I'm absolutely glad that I chose to do so. Any self-respecting autodidact knows that the classroom setting is not conducive to their learning. Conducting a self-directed study allows the autodidact to teach themselves without being hindered by the manifold musings of other classmates. More material can be digested in the same amount of time. Period. What's more, the material presented in this course is highly useful, succinct, and interesting, and the assignments are extremely useful and thought-provoking. TEFL was great TEFL was great, I was able to go at my own speed which was very fast. The tutor graded my modules over night which worked out perfectly so I could wake up and start on the next module. Her feedback was very helpful and it helped my scores in the future.
