I've been working with Ed for a year… I've been working with Ed for a year and half. Meeting with him has made me progress so much farther and faster in my songwriting. I highly reccommed his one on one sessions if you are looking to up your skills. Ed will look at a song and be able to bring it to its full potential and so genius at it. I leave every meeting feeling so encouraged to move forward and work even harder. I would still be lost on this songwriting journey without his courses book and these one on one sessions. Ed is the best!!!

Wrote a song "by the book" Wrote a song by following the process laid out clearly and concisely in Ed's latest book "How to write a song (even if you've never written one before and you think you suck)" and it turned out wonderfully well. Ed has a talent to explain things in an engaging and fun way. Excellent songwriting advice! I have engaged a lot with Ed Bell of The Song Foundry over the past few years. I have always found his advice to be professional, informed and very helpful indeed. His book The Art of Songwriting was insightful and motivational. Also, I used his song critique service twice for feedback on early versions of my songs.
