I subscribed to her emails, and a couple of months later, I received an invitation to participate in an experiment consisting of four trainings and a live workshop in Arizona for a nominal fee. Joining Leap academy was a game changer… Joining Leap academy was a game changer for me. I knew I was doing something wrong in my career but could not figure out what it was. In just 8 weeks of mental exercises, I figured out what was missing and how the hidden market, networking works. The program also gave me the confidence to look within, seek constructive feedback and then take action.

LEAP retreat, a one-of-its kind amazing experience I had the most amazing experience at the retreat. Meeting the coaches and fellow leapers in person has jumpstarted my transformation. It was a daunting decision to drive down from LA two days after joining LEAP, and I had car troubles on my way in, which made me question if I made the right decision. When I texted my roommate Lisa about my situation, her willingness to help a stranger like me gave me a lot of hope and courage that I'm heading in the right direction. On top of that, the next morning I entered the conference room not knowing a single person, which felt uncomfortable. Until Heather came by and introduced me to a few people. Instantly made me feel at home. Hearing Ilana speak got me all fired up, followed by the amazing energy Su brought into her sessions. My coach Gina had such a powerful presence that I realized I was in great hands. Every one I met, coaches, crew, LEAPers was amazing and supportive. Of the many retreats I've been to in the past, including the ones at big tech companies and top B schools, this one felt special because it had everything - inspiration, expertise, wisdom and most importantly, a genuine sense of community where people wanted each other to win. I am so glad for this opportunity and thank you for accommodating my last minute request. If I could, I would give this a rating of 10 instead of 5. Kudos to the team that put this together. Great exec retreat The Leap retreat was great and well worth the time and travel expense investment. The highlight for me was networking with other Leap attendees. Generally speaking, the Leap community is comprised of highly driven, seasoned professionals, typically at the director level and above, in my observation. The instructional content and coaching at the retreat were five stars as well. The retreat's content was somewhere in the 65/35 range of deeper reinforcement of material covered in the coursework leading up to the retreat versus net new content. Overall, it was a great retreat.

Leap coaches are SUPER-CRAZY SMART!! The coaches at Leap are knowledgeable, empathetic, encouraging, super-crazy smart, and educated on the most up-to-date technology and resources available in the job placement arena. To me, Leap was more than a career path program, it was also a personal development program. The weekly "classes" are phenomenal, never "canned" presentations. The DISC assessment and the "homework" to drill down to discover my "why", and my 50 reasons, was insightful. The steps in the program are extremely simple, the work, however, is INTENSE! The vulnerability and honesty from other participants was priceless, and exceptionally helpful! I appreciated the break down of the steps and homework in the modules, into bite-sized pieces. The time period of the program was accurate. For me, it needed to be a daily time commitment (or it was too easy for me to fall behind). The program broke down theories and concepts, into attainable measurable actions. The accountability partner was extremely helpful. The continuous motivation, thoughtful recommendations and encouragement was priceless!
