I studied on my own before I hit a mental roadblock, and they were able to connect me with Amy, who's an incredibly experienced tutor. Martin is a supreme tutor Martin is a supreme tutor. He is not only very knowledgeable but also emotionally intelligent; this helped me feel comfortable discussing whatever was a concern for me regarding Step 1. This combination is rare and hard to find in a tutor. I also appreciated that he works with your schedule, and allowed me to choose what I’d like to cover in each session. My tutor My tutor, Anup, was great for me. He did an excellent job of really focusing on my weaknesses and also my preferred ways of learning. I really felt like he took the time to look at my previous results and geared my studies toward the information gained from those. He was very encouraging which was great for me but also was honest when he needed to be. He was also willing to try different things in our sessions together. We did cases, UWorld, quick review of important points in FA, etc. I worked with Anup for Step 1, 3rd year rotation exams, and Step 2 CK and CS. I wish I would have started working with EMP during my first two years of medical school. I would highly recommend the company.
