Writing with Hurley Write Hurley Write was great in helping me think of ways to improve my writing. I enjoyed looking at examples and rewriting them using the lessons she had just taught the class. My only detraction would be that alot of the information she spoke about was not captured in her notes. It would have been nice for her notes to have more of the details she wrote on the board.

Good course especially for beginning writers! I think the classes provide a good foundation with thought-provoking ideas for individuals who want to know more about writing. Pam and MJ make it easy to understand and are very timely with critiques of the writing assignments.

Informative Scientific Writing Course Good ideas on a variety of ways to improve scientific writing that can be implemented immediately. Easy and energetic style of teaching with humor thrown in to keep the attendees paying attention. Recommend as a first time or refresher course.

I believe that my ability to write and communicate as a whole have vastly improved as a result of the comprehensive approach Hurleywrite uses. I have taken a number of classes from both universities and commercial vendors and at best, they were inadequate.

I finished the course with practical tips that I will actually remember and use -- and a writing project that shows progress made.
