GBEIQ-2 360 Review for Leaders I have used the EIQ-2, primarily the EIQ-2 360o in a variety of situations over the last two-plus years. The clients have varied from the leadership team of a religious organization to an individual professional facing a forced job change. In each case, because of the information I had from in-depth client interviews, and often from superiors or board members, plus other assessment information, I had solid evidence that fueled expectations for the EIQ-2 results. Among the clients I’ve assessed with the EIQ-2 360o, I’ve had individuals in leadership positions with a solid record of good performance, individuals with average performance, and individuals identified as seriously struggling with performance, primarily interpersonal issues. In every single case, the EIQ-2 360o results resulted in a profile that very accurately provided detailed results from the four aspects of emotional intelligence. The detailed report has enabled me to target coaching based on the sub-categories, including the ability to discuss specific behavioral incidents. The “worksheets” provide the opportunity to challenge the client to do additional self-reflection and application. I do wish that the 360o version allowed for ability to break out results for separate audiences. With one of my current clients I have results from the leadership team’s colleagues, plus from members of their Executive Board, plus staff colleagues. Tracking this has been cumbersome to attempt – but very valuable data. In addition to the EIQ assessment, I have personally completed the Critical Thinking and Learning Styles assessments and would like to give them an appropriate application.
