GBExcellent service and excellent results My daughter worked with a former admissions person from Dartmouth through InGenius Prep, and we had phenomenal results. Her counselors really helped her develop her interests, and pushed to her take on leadership roles in her school. When it was time to apply, they helped her frame her application in a way that made her stand out from her peers - no easy feat in today's landscape. She ended up receiving two Ivy League offers and one from Rice. We are beyond thrilled!

GBPlease, please, please skip InGenius prep. We signed on with InGenius in August and it seems their counselor couldn’t miss an opportunity to let us know we came late to the game. This fact did not reduce the price we paid for the service. This counselor hasn’t checked in for several months and our record is zero acceptances to the schools they helped us apply to. Please search for another college prep company- the college application process is too important to risk hiring someone with that kind of track record.

GBGreat counselors We are very pleased to use InGenius Prep for our son's college application. As with other families, we find the college application process very stressful and full of confusions. Thanks to the counselors (Sonya Ovbey and Kathryn Mammel), we completed this process informed, on time and with much more clarity. Our son got into his top school of choice thanks to their help. We highly recommend InGeniusPrep to anyone considering their services.

CASkip for College applications Terrible experience. The personal rep focused on upselling; that was her solution to everything. She also misrepresented the credentials of the 'Harvard' admissions counsellor on staff. (Spoiler alert: the counsellor's linked-in account showed no such position.) The counsellor refused to read the personal information that the rep asked us to put together. She spent most of the session name-dropping and presented herself as an admissions counsellor for Columbia. (Spoiler alert: she didn't hold that position either, Although a/c to LinkedIn, she did do some work at Columbia in a different capacity.) They voluntarily refunded our money; I guess that says everything. But the refund process was odd. They asked for direct banking info as they are not allowed to refund on cc or mail a cheque out of the US. Sadly, they were recommended by a trusted university, which is why we went with them. They were absolutely no help and caused a lot of unnecessary stress with the admissions process. Do not recommend at all. Save your money.

GBWonderful and NECESSARY group of people to work with Wonderful group of people to work with. They did a really good job for my son. It was really difficult to get my son started but they very gently moved him forward. Thank God I used them and not depended on the school counselors because it is an overwhelming situation and the schools just don't have the bandwidth to deal with the students one-on-one and that is what my son needed. Every week they had a scheduled call and he had assignments to do for college apps and they kept him on track. Also with the online education these kids are going to be doing in the Fall, they need to really find time to work on the college applications and this group keeps them moving.
