GBWe are so incredibly grateful that APB… We are so incredibly grateful that APB came along for our son, Luke, who was facing another long stretch at home with his parents. APB has provided Luke with some amazing friendships, independence and outdoor adventures, and I am truly impressed with how quickly and successfully APB put this all together. We are so happy with the program, in fact, that our daughter will be attending the 2nd semester program in Colorado as well!

GBLovin the Woods APB has been one of the most awesome experiences of my life, and I'm only two weeks in! I can only see it getting better and better, between the people and the nature, this place is everything I've ever dreamed and more!

GBA great adventure As a parent, I am so glad this was an option when college decided to not bring students on campus. Working from home would have been a real challenge for our college student. This opportunity has provided so much more personal development than being at home or on a college campus in a limited fashion. As an incoming college freshman, our son has met new young adults from all over the country, built community, had multiple leadership experiences and has tried many new outdoor activities. The academic mentorship that is in place to support the students brings peace of mind to us as parents, knowing that college/class is happening, and it's more than 'camp'. A true blessing to live normally, maskless, while experiencing great people and great adventures.

GBA Place Beyond Our Expectations We loved the idea of APB so much that we sent both of our kids! They are twins in their Junior years. We define this as the mini "trip abroad" that they may never get to take through their colleges due to COVID. It has been that and SO MUCH MORE than we could ever ask for as parents; knowing that our children are safe, mask free, eating healthy foods, getting good grades, and studying with others while they learn to learn remotely and budget their time. Why are they studying well? Pure motivation! So that they can participate in doing all of the outdoor adventures, continue building lifelong friendships, take advantage of the one-on-one mentorships, hear the guest lectures, and have fun like going to a prom, a murder mystery party, poetry readings, birthday celebrations, dance parties, campfires. I also get the feeling that APB is not cliquey. Everyone seems to genuinely get along. My kids were in Arizona for their Fall semester and will go to the Colorado location for the Spring.

GBWe were excited to learn about A Place… We were excited to learn about A Place Beyond as it was initially forming and it has provided my daughter with a safe, fresh and adventurous foundation to base her on-line college learning. It attracts a good mix of students and top staff. I wish I could attend!
