About GBRI

Born in San Antonio, Texas, and now based in New York City, GBRI is a heartfelt endeavor aimed at democratizing sustainability education. Initiated from a humble apartment with our foundational course, ‘Elements of a Green Home’, we swiftly formed educational alliances with prestigious entities like the USGBC and AIA. As we grew, we faced the challenges that come with expansion, balancing the responsibilities at GBRI alongside other commitments. We deeply value the feedback from our community. While we strive for excellence, we recognize that we're on a continual learning journey and are not infallible. Reviews are instrumental in our evolution, guiding us in refining our offerings and approach. To better manage queries and enhance response times, we are transitioning from phone-based support to a ticketing system. While this shift might be a significant change for some, it underscores our commitment to effective communication and continuous improvement. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we endeavor to serve you better. Our catalog delves into crucial topics such as Climate Change, Green Buildings, Social Impact, Decarbonization, and Climate Justice, each echoing the pressing issues of our contemporary world. At GBRI, our collaborative ethos sees us partnering across the globe, predominantly uplifting small businesses and championing the empowerment of individuals, with a distinct emphasis on women. Whether your quest is for LEED or WELL Exam Preparation, acquiring the distinguished title of a Climate Change Ambassador, or seeking Continuing Education for your LEED, WELL, or AIA credential, GBRI stands as your comprehensive resource hub.

All in one Package with Live Sessions It was very helpful to have all different modes of learning in one package. I could use the audio during my travel. The glossary towards the end of the guide and flashcards are good for revisions.. the multiple quizzes and mock exams really help boost the confidence and test your grasp of the subject. I just wish the quizzes could have been paused in between so we could get back to it and don't have to start them from scratch if you had to stop in between... I think the LIVE SESSIONS was the best part with the watssap peer group where we could get all our doubts cleared and get explanations for it by a senior expert like Jeslin and Carolina. Lot of peer learning was also possible. GBRI really provided guidance and support till the day of my exam. Thank you so much. I am looking forward to prep for my LEED AP with them.

I had comple"Exceptional Internship Experience at Green Building Research Institute"ted an internship program… I had completed an internship program at the Green Building Research Institute (GBRI) in 2022, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. GBRI's commitment to sustainability and their dedication to providing valuable knowledge in the field of green building are truly commendable. Throughout my internship, I had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of discussions on sustainability-related topics. These discussions were engaging, thought-provoking, and provided me with a deeper understanding of the principles and practices of green building. The knowledgeable and passionate instructors at GBRI facilitated these discussions, ensuring that every participant had a chance to contribute and learn. One highlight of the program was the LEED exam preparation (GA & AP). GBRI's comprehensive approach to preparing students for the LEED exam was exceptional. GBRI provides detailed study materials, conducts practice exams, and offers personalised guidance to help us succeed. Thanks to their dedicated support.
