ITI just come back from my Aupair year… I just come back from my Aupair year and it was a better experience than what I thought! I saw 13 states in 1 year and split my experience between New York (where I went through a friendly rematch) and Hawaii… my dreams comes true, and it end up been even better than my imagination. I just want to say a huge thank you to this program, that gave me the opportunity to live all of this.

GBEvery experience abroad will become a… Every experience abroad will become a unique story to tell! You have to expect plenty of ups and downs, but I felt supported by APIA all throughout the programme. Part of this cultural exchange costs a lot of stepping-out-of-your-comfort-zone. Especially at a young age, this can be scary! Not just for me, but also for my parents. Getting introduced to this agency, through an event in my home country, not only made me feel confident with embarking into this adventure, but also gave my parents peace of mind. Their rich resources of professional knowledge and experience really helped me be prepared and enjoy my time to the fullest. I will cherish having had this opportunity forever!

GBGreat fit for US families and foreign people who love children Hi There, My name is Stepanka, a friendly/loving girl, who became an au-pair in America. Au-pair in America program is a great fit for both US families and foreign young people who love children and want to experience something unique out of their native country. As an au-pair I met a lot of nice people, I got to go to English school, and also I gained a lot of experience which I have decided to share with all of you and help out with things that every au-pair deal with after her/his arrival. I created a YouTube Channel called "A Pinch of Advice" where you can already find helpful videos and more are coming every month. I can't wait to see you there. Best wishes, Steph :)

CODon't recommend APIA is a company that sells very well and seems to help host families a lot, but on the au pair side, they are negligent. How is it possible that you have a person *working* in your house, taking care of 3 and 4 children simultaneously for 4.35 dollars an hour? This is not a cultural exchange program, it is slavery. It is not worthy for a person to work so much for so little. They justify it by saying that we receive food and a place to live: APIA does not ensure that the conditions inside the host's homes are decent. Au Pairs ended up with physical and mental health issues. I do not recommend APIA or the au pair program in general.
