Every experience abroad will become a… Every experience abroad will become a unique story to tell! You have to expect plenty of ups and downs, but I felt supported by APIA all throughout the programme. Part of this cultural exchange costs a lot of stepping-out-of-your-comfort-zone. Especially at a young age, this can be scary! Not just for me, but also for my parents. Getting introduced to this agency, through an event in my home country, not only made me feel confident with embarking into this adventure, but also gave my parents peace of mind. Their rich resources of professional knowledge and experience really helped me be prepared and enjoy my time to the fullest. I will cherish having had this opportunity forever!

How it was for me My experience with Au Pair in America was great. From start to beginning, they where really helpful and supportive with everything and always made sure to have someone listen to me. My counselor (and the one helping out while mine was on vacation) was amazing. So supportive and I could not have wished for a better one(s). It was almost 3 years of an incredible… It was almost 3 years of an incredible experience, a wonderful family and all the I needed in this important decision that it was to choose a family to live in for so long. In terms of safety and support, APIA helped me a lot before, during and even after the program. I have to say that the partner agency, experimento, before I travel also have a good support but it could be better.

I am sticking with this quote: I'd rather look back at my life and say "I can't believe I did that!" Instead of sayin, "I wish I did that..." This is amazing chance to see and explore America, get better in English, experience American culture, work with kids, found a second family/second home and make memorable moments in your life.
