ITJust returned from my experience and I… Just returned from my experience and I would recommend it to everyone for personal growth. I was looking for a cultural program, that would give me the opportunity to travel, learn about new ways of thinking and improve my level of English. I came across several agencies, but what made the difference was certainly the service and how we were followed during the entire experience. Thanks to Silvia for her professionalism and sweetness. If you choose a good agency and a good family with the same values, you could have an amazing experience that won’t forget.

GBNot as promised No enough support for the au pair, specially during the pandemic. The payment is not meeting the minimum per hour by state and some families excuse their wrong behavior behind "you are leaving in my house and I'm paying you". The whole program is promoted as the best exchange experience when lots of au pair are not even able to enjoy their free time because of very strict families that not respect boundaries or people. **I worked as an au pair in 2019-2021

IS10/10 would recommend I came to the U.S. in the middle of the pandemic and Au Pair in America always helped me and supported me with all the documents I needed for my visa. When I came to the U.S., I was with three families in three different states, had one rematch, and always felt like APiA supported me and had my back. Especially my last counselor in Nashville, TN was so great! She was always there for us Au Pairs, planned all those great and fun meetings and always helped us. The communication between her, the AuPairs and the families was great and she put so much effort into her work! I am more than happy with Au Pair in America and would always chose them again! 10/10 would recommend!

GBNever give up Hello everyone. I am currently being an au pair. I would like to share my experience so that I can also help other girls who may find themselves in the same situation. I experienced the rematch. It was a friendly rematch thankfully. I don't hide that the emotions I experienced were harder than I imagined. But it's up to you how much you want to commit to finding a solution. If you care, you can find it. And I had the support of the staff in Italy especially Silvia, she was phenomenal. She didn't make me feel alone, but supported. In the end I found the light at the end of the tunnel and soon I will leave for my new adventure in the direction of the new host family! Good luck to all of you!

GBLet your dreams be your wings This journey gave me so much that I can't still believe I am living my dream in the USA. I am sticking with this quote: I'd rather look back at my life and say "I can't believe I did that!" Instead of sayin, "I wish I did that..." This is amazing chance to see and explore America, get better in English, experience American culture, work with kids, found a second family/second home and make memorable moments in your life. I am grateful to be called an au pair. Only what I can say...Dreams can come true, you just not let the fear of unknown to consume you. Go For your dreams!
