"I can read now!" Our district has been using Reading Horizons for about 4 months now. I am amazed at the progress I am seeing with my second graders. One of my students would always tell me "I can't read." Then, after using RHD for about a month, he looked at me and said, "I can read now Mrs. Head!" The way the program combines letters and vowels into slides, opens doors to understanding for students who struggle with the traditional beginning, middle, and end sound strategy. The online portion of the program is also extremely beneficial in providing practice and games for concepts we are learning in class. This is an excellent program, and I am so excited that my district has chosen it.

Reading Horizon Helped me too! Reading Horizon is an amazing tool to use. It really takes the basics and builds upon them to help students learn how to read and transfer skills. Even as an adult, I am learning now ways to look at words! It is amazing!

Completing the much needed Modules in… Completing the much needed Modules in order to get the fabulous kits to enhance my Special Ed students phonics and reading fluency was challenging. I owe everything to Ms. Haley Merrill who went above and beyond to guiding me and helping me. She is an angel because when I was ready to give up, she encouraged me to continue and trouble shooted with me . Thank you Ms. Merrill for your kindness and patience.

Reading Horizons in the Resource Class Room I am a special education teacher. I really enjoy Reading Horizons. I like how the lessons dive into the phonic skill that is being practiced. I also like how the lesson give enough practice but do not go on and on. I am grateful for the online resources because they let my kids be able to go at their own pace and practice the skills they need to be successful.

This is an AMAZING way to teach… This is an AMAZING way to teach phonics. Teachers at my school love using it Tier 1. The process Reading Horizons uses is easy to follow and it works. Teachers can easily follow the curriculum. The online resources Reading Horizons provides are very helpful and just plain AWESOME. We are using the Reading Horizons software this year and are loving it so far. Using RH K-3 also allows us to be consistent across grade levels in the way we are teaching phonics. We are using the elevate software for older grades but as more of a type of intervention. I really support using this program!
