GBSupportive University I started at the University of Portsmouth during Covid and the support they gave me was amazing! They were always on hand to discuss any issues I had throughout the pandemic and provide support in terms of deadlines, mental health, and isolation. I study film production which meant it was very hard to have the hands on approach I had hoped for. However, when we were allowed back in person there were lots of sessions and the tutors really helped me to catch up on what I had missed.

GBInternational Relations Student About to go into my 3rd and final year at UoP. As an international student I was nervous about attending uni in a whole new country but I can say that I have had a good experience at UoP. There is a lot of support for international students, and the vast majority of staff and students are extremely welcoming. My course has been interesting, yet challenging. Doing second year online didn't really help but I still felt like I had a good level of support and communication from the university, which was great.

BEExchange Programme I had an excellent experience at the University of Portsmouth. I was part of an exchange programme and got to stay 6 months in this university. I would gladly recommend their school of applied languages to anyone interested in that field.

GBI am just starting my 2nd year at the… I am just starting my 2nd year at the University of Portsmouth and I have been super impressed with how they handled the 1st year during the pandemic. I was apprehensive about starting and worried about the level of support I would receive whilst studying from home. However, I did not need to worry at all, all of the tutors and lecturers I encountered were super helpful at all times and pointed me in the right direction of specialist help when I needed it. All support resources were fab and whilst working as a key worker part time along-side university, the university were really accommodating with deadlines and any extra help I would need. I'm so excited to start back fully next week and continue my Portsmouth adventure

GBA lot of help ! I started at the University of Portsmouth in September 2020, studying Early Childhood Studies. It was a weird experience, having lectures and seminars online, not being able to meet coursemates, and being stuck in halls all day, but the wellbeing team were very helpful in supporting students through the tough situation. The lecturers are very understanding, and easy to talk to, and they can signpost you to the correct people to make sure you get the correct help. There is a lot of help available at the uni, in terms of student finance help and the Disabled Student's Allowance (DSA), careers advice, educational workshops and a lot more! They are definitely worth going to!
