GBHalf way thru the course Half way thru the course, there was an issue with tech and a new book was uploaded that thru off all the chapters, quizzes etc. making it difficult for the students to follow, take tests in timely manner etc. It was completely confusing. The client services team was responsive, but said it was a development update and there was nothing that could be done. In the future, I would have the dev team be in concert with teams to know that a textbook was in current use prior to doing any updates that could affect the text book etc.

GBExellent Text, Simulation, and Overall Experience I used the Social Media Marketing text and simulation. It MADE the class. The students loved the competition, and they got to see how their choices impacted the success of their SM campaigns. As for the text, the individual chapters on each platform was a huge plus. I highly recommend this package.

GBI really prefer this program over the… I really prefer this program over the other budgeting activities I have done. It is the most real-world program I have used and it throws in the unexpected, which parallels real-life. The students enjoy it. Further, I am not a tech-savvy teacher. Their support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly.

GBThe Mimic Social Simulation updates are… The Mimic Social Simulation updates are amazing! I appreciate how rounds are broken into categories, budgets are changed accordingly, and students get a real-world view of being a social media marketing manager. I am disappointed with the instructor provided content. The PowerPoint slides are filled with typos and grammar errors and there is no consistency in formatting. If I want to use parts of these slides, I have to completely rebuild each chapter. The test banks contain all questions already provided in the quizzes, have no application questions, and do not use Blooms taxonomy to scale for higher level thinking. Stukent is on the right track with their materials and they can easily be updated to be more useful for faculty.
