HKDisappointing AI: GPT-3 is past its due date I use Scite as a professor and must say I am disappointed by the AI. It is obvious they need at least GPT-4 instead of the currently used GPT-3, as many queries are not understood. Often the AI gives weird answers or repeated template answers. For example, I asked it to find studies on cultural stress and psychological outcomes. And it could not find anything predicting "psychological outcomes". It took it literally, instead of a wide range of outcome variables. GPT-4 does not make these mistakes. Furthermore, it often provides references in the reference list that are different than those it mentions in its reply. Often the output is also very small. For example, it provides 2 references on a topic that I know is widely researched. Another example of it not understanding your request is one where I asked it to find papers that critique the well-known works on X by authors A & B. And while it finds papers related to the topic, it falsely states that these critique the work by A & B. In fact, it provides references written by A & B themselves! All in all, it is imperative that Scite updates its AI model, because this one is way past its due date.

CHNo reminder to inform about end of trial period. They offer a free trial and don't remind you by mail that the trial period is ending and charge you immediately. Horrible way to conduct business.

NZGood Research Validation Tool Although they have very scummy billing and refund policies and tactics software works very well, although makes some mistakes and needs to be human checked I would recommend for any researcher. However still be aware of canceling on time / reaching to support if cancel doesn't work.
