Do your homework before you sign up Do your homework before you sign up. Google CBCS from NHA to see if this designation is for you. It doesn’t seem to be popular everywhere. Get everything in writing from Ashworth before you sign up. They promised me study materials for a CPC designation from AAPC. They didn’t provide any study materials for CPC. It is going to cost me thousands more to get a CPC from AAPC. Good luck with your decision.

They choose which transcripts you get :) They arbitrarily decided to send me 1 of 2 paid for transcripts. I talked to Parchment and Ashworth Billing* multiple times, doesn't matter. I'm out my money for the 2nd transcript. Parchment even said they would refund me the money for my missing transcript, definitely didn't get that. They used to be good, I don't know what happened. Don't even bother going here. *The asterisks is because I am unable to get into touch with Student Services no matter what. There's no phone number, they never called me back during any of the many appointments I made, and the "chat" option is a robot without the ability to communicate. I get better conversations out of my plants. Have yet to have a ticket answered, but I received loads of "how are we doing?" surveys.

So far, so good So far, I love it! I've been wanting to get my degree for a while and ran into a lot of trouble. I was doing a late-night search trying to find other options, and Ashworth came up. I signed up immediately, and one month later, I don't regret it. I am already a quarter of the way through my degree program as they accepted my old credits from another college and from Sophia.org. The only cons are: -It's really hard to reach a professor. Emails go unanswered, and everything is really impersonal. -You also must be really self-motivated since everything is self-paced. I've created a plan with due dates to help me stay on task. -Lastly, you need to understand that it's national accreditation, so if you want to transfer elsewhere, the credits may not be accepted. However, it's good to know that MANY schools will accept the credits, and it will be easy to transfer out for a graduate degree.

Not a good experience The beginning of the program went smoothly but when you're close to graduating, it's completely different. HORRIBLE customer service. Sometimes assignments are graded late and questions have taken weeks to be answered. All of which can leave you having to pay a hefty fee for a semester extension. It makes one wonder if that's their goal or if they're really just that incompetent. Dealing with this school has left me feeling hopeless and extremely frustrated. Please research this school well before enrolling.

I have to say I love Ashworth College I have to say I love Ashworth College. Any time I submit a ticket I get a response either that day or the next. My assignment submissions were graded within a reasonable amount of time. When I have called, every person on the other end was friendly and helpful. The course material is very informative, interesting, and current. No billing issues at all.
