About PowerBlock

PowerBlock, Inc. was founded in 1991 by specialty fitness equipment designers who became friends while designing equipment for several companies including Parabody and Cybex. While searching for specific needs in the fitness industry, they were drawn to the large amounts of dumbbells they would encounter in the specialty fitness stores they visited. There had to be a better way of providing fitness enthusiasts with the performance advantage of hand weights without the space and restrictions of old fashioned racks and dumbbells. It was here the idea for PowerBlock was born. After two years of extensive testing, PowerBlock began sales of the newly coined "selectorized dumbbell". Since then, PowerBlock has continued to be the leader in the fitness industry as we constantly strive to out do ourselves in the pursuit of excellence.

Worst experience ever Worst experience ever. I bought the power block sport 90lbs. On the website the color is dark grey border line black when I received them they looked light grey FALSE ADVERTISING then when I called to complain they said I can return them but I have to pay shipping fees??? It's illegal to false advertise but they didn't care one bit. I neeeever waist my time on writing a comment but I don't want someone else to get ripped off

Outstanding service We had already ordered our powerblock weight system and stand through our local fitness equipment distributor and later wanted the workout posters. Powerblock sent them right away with tracking. The posters are very high quality and well laminated. Thank you

Purchased the Sport EXP Stage 1 along … Purchased the Sport EXP Stage 1 along with the sheet metal stand and power bench. I rate the dumbbells at 5 stars, excellent quality. I rate the sheet metal stand at 4 stars, has more flex than it should for the cost. Finally, I rate the power bench at 4 stars, solidly made however the design allows a bit of wobble side to side when lifting on it, both the seat and the back rest. Also, the design of the feet contribute to the wobbliness when used on carpet. Overall, very usuable and I recommend the system, very compact footprint and a lot of work can be done very quickly with this system.

Powerblock weights I like how the weights are interchangeable but I think the opening to grab the handle should be much wider. I also think the metal parts should be covered with rubber. When I do exercises that require one dumbell and you switch from one hand to the other, I cannot get my hand inside to grab the handle to switich hands and have cut my hand 3 times. I try grabbing the outside but hurts my hand holding onto all the metal bars.

Kettleblock Handle is Great I was a little hesitant about purchasing the Kettleblock handle, worried how functional it would be compared to an actually kettlebell, but I am very pleased. I love the handle. Only think that I was confused about was the weights it says is on the kettleblock for each color plate. They weren't adding up, but I figured it out.
