GBI’m learning Portuguese on Duolingo but… I’m learning Portuguese on Duolingo but after several months in and a purchased 1 year subscription I am told that it isn’t in fact Portuguese from Portugal I’m learning but Brazilian Portuguese. No sign of European Portuguese available any time soon either. Duolingo is very effective though. It makes practice fun.

GBNeeds more options for intermediate and advanced users It would be great if there were different levels ie beginner, intermediate and advanced. My son already has a lot of experience, so most if the lessons are too easy for him and really just a review. He loves the videos and games, it's a shame it's not more challenging for him.

GBI wish more people knew about this As a long time Duolingo user I've always wished for more language options. Languages like Punjabi and Urdu are so intimidating to me for their pronunciation and scripts alone. It's important to recognize that these are skills that take time and patience to learn, even as an adult. Duolingo expects too many skills at the start. Dinolingo focuses on the core skills that develop language fluency from the start. If you want to learn a language in a more immersive manner then this is your way to go. Great for kids and adults alike

GBWe recently subscribed to Dinolingo… We recently subscribed to Dinolingo Spanish course for our daughter, and it has only been a couple of days but she absolutely loves it. The excitement she feels as she learns new Spanish words is amazing. We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll her.

GBMostly Pros, and a few Cons Pros: I love the immersion method, the ability to navigate back and forth through different word groups and the ability to download on multiple tablets and use the little kid mode for my toddler while still having access to big kid mode for my older child. Cons: Ok so the movies zooming around and changing channels are kind of distracting, and the ongoing music is annoying. I do want my kids to get repetition of Spanish language but the music and dizzying video is over the top. My kids won't use it more than 10 minutes at a time. The other negative aspect is just the price. I can see a lot went into developing the system, but I'd love to see a significantly lower price for year membership.
