Platica Review I was with Cecilia Arroyo for the past two years. She was always on time and enthusiastic to have the conversations. This enthusiasm helped have a better conversation. She acted interested to hear what I had to say, and she also had good things to talk about. Platica helped immerse me in the Spanish language and give me more experience with it.

Great! I really enjoyed the conversations mostly because of the meaningful topics/discussions and feedback on where I could improve. My partner was also very friendly and down to earth.

I had so much fun! I had so much fun with these conversations! I loved being able to speak every week with Alejandra and she made my experience so great! I never felt judged or scared about saying something wrong or sounding stupid if I didn’t know how to say something. I learned a lot and would love to be able to stay in touch with her moving forward since my minor for Spanish has just ended! I think this program is so worthwhile and something I would recommend to anyone else looking to better their speaking skills and become more comfortable talking in Spanish!

Plática Review I have been doing Plática for the past three years through my school. I have found this experience to be both extremely fun and cohesive despite being in a learning environment. I love the way in which each conversation is set up: before your conversation you will receive a list of topics you may be speaking about and after your conversation you also receive an electronic copy of your corrections. This past year, I have been an AP Spanish student, and with the help of my "speaking partner" through Plática I have been able to practice my simulated conversations for the upcoming exam. I would recommend this program to any Spanish speaking student, no matter their level. I have had such a great time throughout this program and have even developed a friendship with my speaking partner.

I love Ale! I loved talking with Ale! She was so nice and we always talked about important things that pertained to the class. She helped me feel comfortable speaking in Spanish.
