Thorough and insightful English teacher / grader I took the 120 master TEFL certificate and had the opportunity to have him as my TEFL teacher / grader. It is evident that he actually has knowledge behind his years of experience on how to guide and comment upon students' learning of both how to teach English and navigate more involved situations that come up in classroom dynamics. He is clear about what a student's strengths are and gives straightforward suggestions in where a student can even further improve, even though I know other teachers / graders might settle for a student's adequacy without adding further insight. It was also appreciated that he would consistently communicate with me of any questions / comments / concerns I had in a timely manner.

I now know how to sound more American Rex helps me polish my American pronunciation. Our classes are interesting and fun, full of insights. I now know what exactly makes my speech sound off, and how to make my pronunciation more clear. Rex uses a color vowel chart that serves as our technical language for describing sounds. I find this system helpful.

Rex is the ideal mentor and teacher Rex was my tutor for my TEFL certification program at BridgeTEFL, and I had a very positive experience with him! The first interaction I had with him was on the day that I started my course. On this day, Rex sent me an email clearly laying out what he expected from me in terms of format, content, and length for my assignments. I luckily paid close attention to his instructions and it was smooth sailing from then on. For all of my assignments, Rex provided personalized reviews and comments. This showed me that he actually took the time to read and analyze my assignments, which I was very grateful for. His insights were great, and his critiques were always spot on. At one point, I had to take a pause in my studies to deal with health and other life matters. When I came back, Rex was very welcoming and it felt as if I had never even left. All from a man that I have only ever interacted with online. That's quite special, and very telling of his character and professionality. Though I have yet to begin my new teaching career, Rex has provided me with a base level of confidence that I believe will propel me through the first anxiety-ridden days, weeks, and months of my new life. Rex is professional and truly caring I have been working on my accent with Rex for around 2 months now and it’s been a great experience!
