This is the course you are looking for! If you want a painless, efficient, and effective way to truly learn German, then look no further. The teaching strategy in this course genuinely works. No more old school teaching styles that force memorization of endless lists. The approach here weaves together visual and contextual learning that builds a solid foundation–one that is easy to navigate as you add in more words and greater understanding. I have never thought of myself as a visual person, but now I realize I was wrong. I simply never applied it to learning before in any serious way. Here, however, I found myself absolutely reliant upon calling up the associated images in my mind. Once the images were anchored in my brain, it became a breeze to instantly jump to one, and know whether a noun requires der, das, or die. Easy. I made it a habit to briefly, but consistently, review the images in each category until they were ingrained in my mind–which didn’t take long. Also, because pattern recognition is constantly used, it is almost as if you are being taught grammar in a covert way. All of a sudden I realized I actually understand the grammar and I didn’t even have to memorize anything. My mind didn’t even have an opportunity to put up resistance to the fact that I was learning grammar. Do not discount this fact! This is priceless if you truly want to learn a foreign language. If you earnestly follow the suggestions given from the get-go, and are honest with yourself by taking it at a pace in which you are comprehending each chunk offered, you will absolutely be successful. But, even if there is something you don’t fully get right away, he goes over the concepts again and again until you do. You will understand. Trust the process. Finally, a generous amount of lessons (20) are given for free in order for you to check out the method and see how it works for you. After one or two lessons I was sold that this was definitely the way to go. There is nothing to lose, only confidence to gain that you can indeed learn this language.
