Drumming as Play I like that the lessons are laid out day by day over a month's time and that you can return to them over and again. I think the explanations are good and I like that you perform a slow version and then a faster version. I also like the email links you have sent me with additional lessons. Thank you. I am an old man, so I still have some difficulty with the website (maneuvering around - I keep thinking I am going to delete something). I am at the end of the first month and I do not know how to post a video of my playing but that does not bother me. I was wondering if I could print out the music, but again, no big deal really. I wish now however that I would have bought a real drum-set instead of an electronic version. But the electronic version still works. I look forward to next months lessons.

My progressing on the DBO Firstly I'm still learning the English so my expression may be misinterpieted,I'm sorry for it. The lessons in the DBO are helpful to develop my week hand,and I practice the techniques that Gabe told me in the lessons almost every,I can feel the big progressing on my weak hand.I will keep on practicing,thanks DBO,thanks Gabe.Keep pushing forward!!

DBO ROCKS! Gabe is easily the best drum teacher ever! He genuinely cares about his students progression around the kit which has pushed me to become the drummer I am today. DBO got me drumming! DBO Academy is just what I needed to get me drumming. The excellent, progressive lessons are short but pack a punch. I’ve enjoyed it for a month and feel like I’ve had a great start toward my drumming goals. An added bonus to the lessons is the community of other students. It’s fun to read and post small victories and share encouragement. This has been worth the cost already and I’m only 1/12th of the way done with my first year!

A great guide for drummers who feel stuck Dbo offers a clear guide and helps you understand where you’re at and gives you a purpose to practice wish the designed lessons specific to your level. Make sure you actually go through the lessons probably and don’t cheat yourself. Theres also a good community in the dbo with friendly faces who are very encouraging. And dbo is getting better every week with new types of content being added.
