DBO got me drumming! DBO Academy is just what I needed to get me drumming. The excellent, progressive lessons are short but pack a punch. I’ve enjoyed it for a month and feel like I’ve had a great start toward my drumming goals. An added bonus to the lessons is the community of other students. It’s fun to read and post small victories and share encouragement. This has been worth the cost already and I’m only 1/12th of the way done with my first year!

I really am happy that i found this site I really am happy that i found this sight. The production of the lessons is great, tons of info and lots of instructors. The best for myself as a beginner is that the learning path for a new drummer is laid out in a concise manner. I have found that with many internet learning sights, there is so much information available but it is very easy to get side tracked and overwhelmed so I appreciate the measured, clear presentation. I am making more progress with Drum Beats than I expected. Thanks to everyone involved. Joe Dain

DBO ROCKS! Gabe is easily the best drum teacher ever! He genuinely cares about his students progression around the kit which has pushed me to become the drummer I am today. His courses are fun, entertaining, and encourage you to complete lesson after lesson to climb DBO Academy and become a master drummer. The program is at such an affordable price as well. Drumming as Play I like that the lessons are laid out day by day over a month's time and that you can return to them over and again. I think the explanations are good and I like that you perform a slow version and then a faster version. I also like the email links you have sent me with additional lessons. Thank you. I am an old man, so I still have some difficulty with the website (maneuvering around - I keep thinking I am going to delete something). I am at the end of the first month and I do not know how to post a video of my playing but that does not bother me. I was wondering if I could print out the music, but again, no big deal really. I wish now however that I would have bought a real drum-set instead of an electronic version. But the electronic version still works. I look forward to next months lessons.

Learn the right way! I can't talk enough about how positive my experience's have been with Drum Beats Online. The online dashboard is very easy to navigate; the lessons are very user friendly; and just when you say to yourself "when am I going to learn that?" it seriously pops in the next lesson or two.
