Ulrich's approach is excellent, and the best part is that he meets players where they are and is very patient. I have been playing for over 40 years and am still learning and working on my discipline, this program greatly helps in that. The workshops are top notch with some of the best players in the world. You are worth the investment I really thought I was a good intermediate player, but lacked a lot of the fundamentals. TGT had brought me right back to the basics and relentlessly forces you to transform hour playing. Ulrich has the tight balance of encouraging you to love forward, with the discipline to not let you get a “complete” without getting it right. I really went back and forth on the decision to spend this amount of money on a remote class, but I must say I do not regret it one bit. I am 6 months in and really notice how much better I sound thanks to TGT.

How to speak MUSIC How to speak the beautiful language of music. This is the most valuable thing that I learned from Ulrich. This made me think like a musician. I didn’t even think about this aspect when I entered the course. I thought that melody and chords is all - but learned that rhythm, accentuations and dynamics is what makes music eventually alive. Then there was the Basic Training stuff. This is a well-structured system. The TGT community provides an extremely powerful support here. If you accomplished this, then you became a guitar player. Ulich is has answered all my questions… Ulich is has answered all my questions about playing and tone etc. what was really useful was the program on how to play Jimi's songs. it actually expanded my knowledge of guitar. I am now working on other scales besides the pentatonic and major scales. also have a good knowledge of circle of fifths. I love this course
