Soma and the other acting coaches including Emily, Christina and Hershel not only work with us weekly during our classtime, but support and interact with us within the discord community. The online course covers all of the basics and necessities, and Soma is always adding new chapters/videos based on what we (the students) want to learn/improve on. The many resources available to us help us hone in on out craft and grow as performers. Actor Academy cultivates a community of actors from all around the world and sets us up for success when preparing for and filming auditions.

Soma is super sweet and she gives so much personal attention to everyone. There’s so much support and she prioritizes her student success more than anything which is something that you don’t see very often!

Feels like a safe space I’ve taken a few acting classes in the past, but this is the first class I’ve taken thats felt like a safe space where everyone wants you to succeed. Even after just 6 weeks, I feel like I’ve gotten a lot of helpful feedback and learned quite a bit about the business side as well. I just have to start pushing myself now to upload weekly monologues and submit myself because I’ve been given the tools I need. I look forward to class every week and to keep growing as an actor!
