Perfect option for a career change! I took the part time online bootcamp and loved it! I did the MERN stack option and learned so much. I enjoyed the class structure and the online learning platform was a fantastic resource. They also run a Discord server that gives you access to teachers and TAs! I would totally recommend this program for new high school grads or people making a career change (like myself leaving the legal field after 10 years)!

The onsite experience was very helpful… The onsite experience was very helpful in technical work. Visualization is your own part of the studies as working at the school and not actually working in a tech job can prove to stimulate at least a few illusions about how the work will be. The technical approach is really well done at Coding Dojo. They give you a taste of everything and keep you moving around enough so that when the dust settles, you can see the common patterns of the most important aspects to learn, as they are common among the many different tastes you aquire.

Coding Dojo is a great venture if you … Coding Dojo is a great venture if you are seeking a very entry level introduction to the world of web programming. They touch upon all the major concepts lightly to intermediary. By no means will this make you career ready alone as they used to market towards. This is the fine line that reals in a lot of hopefuls. Do you research, come prepared and be prepared to have to run another marathon during and after the program to be even remotely prepared for work in development. Objectively speaking you may be able to land a very entry level basic web dev role at a company doing simple coding tasks. But if you want to be a serious dev, lots of additional legwork will need to be done.

After hearing about the program from an… After heading about the program from an old friend, I decided to jump onboard, and haven't looked back! I wound up taking two stacks at first and have now added the third. It was a steep learning curve at first, but going through the motions and really taking the time to learn proved to be beneficial. Definitely would recommend this school to anyone looking to get a second chance at a career or a new beginner.
