I do believe the course presented holds… I do believe the course presented holds valuable information for most people, but I do not believe their is great care taken for newbies. There is a lot of jargon that is used, which stunts the learning process. There are also several modules that are not recorded well, so it is hard to understand the instruction that is being taught when recorded via an aircraft. The quizzes had issues of their own, as they do not show you what wrong answers was given, not allowing room to learn from said quizzes. I do believe this course is suited for some and there is no doubt that it is a comprehensive course, but make sure you try to watch some of Jon and Fly8ma’s content on YouTube before purchasing. This is to make sure their style of teaching matches your style of learning. I did not feel like the course was suited for me so i decided to reach out to request a refund. I spoke with Jon regarding my situation with the course and he informed me that he could not process a refund because I had the course for about 5 weeks at the point of talking to him. I could understand his position, but I explain to him that I preemptively bought the course assuming it would be great based on the reviews I’ve seen. I did not have time to delve deeper into the course until around the time I requested the refund as I did not find it user friendly for myself. I truly wish there was a trial that I could have tested to make sure the course would work for me, but nonetheless, there wasn’t.

If you struggle with ground... If you find ground study boring, then FLY8MA is what you need. The study courses are engaging and informative. Fly8MA was exactly what I needed to supplement the training I was receiving at my flight school and they covered everything that was missed/not expanded upon enough. Passed my Instrument and Commercial checkrides within 6 weeks of each other and alot of credit goes to the crew here. Thanks guys, I'll be back!

I passed the test with a 95% score !! I passed the test with a 95% score - thank you Fly8ma & Jon!! The course delivery method was so unique and effective. Short videos kept me going and the way everything was explained is incredible. I liked the way how boring topics like regulations and visibility numbers were categorized, really helped me memorize them. I can't believe I remember the VFR visibility rules for all airspace categories now :) Good work there designing these courses the way they are!

I got 90% on the FAA Private Pilot Written Test! I used Fly8ma's Premium Private Pilot Ground School and the Private Pilot Written Test Bootcamp to do my ground school and prep for the test. They were awesome! The content is exceptional, easy to understand, and they are very prompt in answering questions as well as fixing issues in the rare event one is found.
