*The instructor was very knowledgeable… *The instructor was very knowledgeable of the subject matter. He ensured that every student understood the subjects being covered and as an instructor I commend him for his knowledge and demeanor in the classroom. It really does make a big difference when teaching a subject as difficult as master rigging to individuals that do not utilize mathematics on a daily basis and are week in the subject matters pertaining to rigging in general. Kudos to MR. Bishop! *A few suggestions I had for the training environment: Before students are enrolled in the course send them a rigging pre-test to see how knowledgeable they are in the subject matter. *A concern of mine is that there is no pre-requisite for the Master Rigger course. It is a concern for myself due to when I signed up for the course I signed up for the 4 day Master Riggers course. The sales staff member was persistent in selling me and my manager on the extra testing day on Friday. We knew that for our organization it would not benefit us to have this extra day added to an already hefty training bill. I understand sales staff positions and goals but we had already sent two individuals to the training and knew what to expect from the course. There was also a student in the class that had never rigged before, and was in this master rigger course. I guess for myself with a training background, is why the need of the customer should be evaluated by a knowledgeable sales team member before any purchases of a seat in a class should happen.
