Now we ship products with these switches integrated (industrial automation solutions). We had a 20x space saving (and associated weight saving) with no reduction in switch performance. Super compact, reliable, great service. I ordered a board and it was shipped out less than 1 hour later. I got the board in the US 2 days later which is so fast. I wanted the gigablocks nano for a compact robot arm application… The board is super tiny, more than I expected; not sure how they managed it but I’m impressed. It’s been running for over 3 months now with no issues, and the team at botblox have even supporting me in developing my own daughterboard for it.

For our use case, this switch will be the heart of the communication infrastructure for a high-altitude collegiate liquid rocket's onboard avionics system, carrying data critical to the mission's success. For us because of the vibrational environment, the board-to-board architecture of the GigaBlox Nano is fantastic, it removes points of failure and decreases system complexity. One of the reasons we decided to go with a COTS switch, in this case, was to allow us to worry less about the reliability of the vehicle's data backbone and more about the interesting control and data logging problems we are facing. I would highly recommend BotBlox products to anyone looking for an integrated low profile networking solution. Outstanding Product and Service I purchased a SwitchBlox - Small Ethernet Switch and a GigaBlox. Both Products arrived sooner than expect even though they were on backorder. Both tiny switches work perfectly and are amazing for such a small size. I have had them working since I purchased them and have had zero problems, everything works perfectly. Since Purchasing the products I have asked various questions and Josh has been great at replying.
