I called to get information and I got help. I called to get information regarding a charge controller and an inverter. I spoke with Jay, he did a great job of explaining to me the needs of my system. I asked about a million questions so that I could understand, not just know, what he was helping me with. If Jay's assistance is an example of what Aims employees provide to customers they should get 6 stars. Z

An AIMS inverter/charger started having problems… I had an AIMS inverter/charger start acting up a short while before the one-year warranty period was up. (It wouldn't shift from fast charge to float charge despite the batteries being new and fully charged.) I notified the company and got advice several times from their technicians regarding things I should try. It turned out that the unit needed to be returned for repair. A couple of circuit boards were replaced and now it's back to working like a champ. There was no fuss from them about doing the work under warranty. The woman in their office who handled the return was a delight to work with.

Excellent quality and customer service We purchased a solar system from AIMS to power our camper van. AIMS support staff helped us pick the best system for our plans. Then as newbies, figuring out the system setup and wiring was a challenge. Once again AIMS was there for us, even when we called them multiple times. This is an excellent, customer focused high quality company. I highly recommend them!

I had a question about the 6000 WATT… I had a question about the 6000 WATT 240V split phase I bought a few years back. Being a novice to the exact workings of this device I sent a detailed description of what I thought the problem was. A tech responded quickly and addressed every concern I had. In short, electrical test equipment specifically meant for a normal home electrical system is not meant to test an inverter. In my case I was using a simple plug in type outlet tester. I explained the situation I thought I had and the engineer walked me through it.

It's been about 7 years 100% duty… It's been about 7 years 100% duty powering all of our 120v loads and emergency backup for the 240v. It's getting dated compared to some of the newer inverters coming out today but this thing runs everything all-day everyday. It starts the generator when the bank is low all on its on to charge the battery. I know there are clone and shadow brands but this thing has taken all types of abuse. Only thing I would do for any of there equipment is over size the DC cables.
