In bed with costco Firstly, the RFD forums are full of trolls with no life. Secondly, I flagged a post that was obviously a retailer trying to get free promo while putting down competitors, and the moderator actually told the poster who complained. The poster then sent me nasty messages. Absolutely no integrity

The mods are so bad The mods are so bad, especially the childish "Mr Disco", who spends his life flexing his power in the redflag forum. The site has REALLY gone downhill in recent years.

Worst place to submit a listing This is by far the worst place to showcase your low-priced product. Registration was standard, then I had to read a whole bunch of documents to understand how to post a deal. it's rather substandard because they want you to go into their forms under some new deals section to make a post. I made a post because the item I'm advertising is by far cheaper than all of the competition in the area. Hours later, I receive an email which led me to the following message: "You have been permanently banned from this board. Please contact the Board Administrator for more information. Reason given for ban: self promotion, use the advertising link at the bottom of the website A ban has been issued on your username." So I go look at the bottom of the site and there's NO advertising link. Why does the site even exist if they can't make it easy to use with the rules clear and up-front?

Mods are pretentious gate keepers Mods are pretentious gate keepers - deleting comments regarding ingredients and information regarding informed consumer choice. Why create a forum if you just want to post deals? Let people post deals and then give a thumbs up and down if you don't want discussion.
