GIS technology for everyone I have worked with Caliper products for 10 years as a transportation/urban planner and they have always fulfilled my needs. Maptitude/TransCAD software are easy to use, organized and robust: able to cope with large datasets without any problems. The user interface is very clear and easy to understand. The exchange of data and databases across several formats is also very simple and functional. The two-way direct link with Google Earth makes my projects look really interesting. I have adopted Maptitude in my GIS classes and it has been a great success with the students. They get excited in learning the geoprocessing techniques with such a technology that Maptitude provides.

Maptitude Caliper is an elite company in the world of GIS. Other than there incredible software, it is there customer service that truly sets them apart from the rest. As a GIS student, I am currently using Maptitude at my University to make analysis through spatial modeling. I needed a personal copy so that I could work on school projects off campus. I contacted Caliper and they were very helpful by giving me a student license. Great company.

Maptitude is capable of doing everything you would need. We purchased Maptitude for a yearly mapping project. We are a non-profit charitable organization and our volunteers deliver gift bags to all 930 member families. It was my task to map 85+ delivery routes to all member families in our local area. I was seeking a substitute for Microsoft Streets and Trips. Maptitude is like Streets and Trips on steroids. I think there is probably not much Maptitude can't do. There is a bit of a learning curve because it is so powerful. But I like the ability to customize the map points with a staggering array of colors and shapes. I can save the maps, make PDFs, optimize routing. Everything I need---plus. Thank you Maptitude.

Maptitude simply the best GIS bar none I have used Maptitude since it first came out in Beta. At the time no other GIS program coiuld handle the environmental justice/toxic mapping that I was doing. I used Maptitude and GISDK to create the very first nationwide toxic mapping for EDF. Maptitude still is the most powerful, easy to use and cost effective solution out there. I highly recommend.

As a complete Maptitude novice As a complete Maptitude novice, I used the software to create a literary map of the greater Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, area. Boston has a rich literary past and present; I easily got the software to dot the map with features that highlighted writers' homes and well-known public hangouts. A fun exercise!
