You can develop a complete web application with database knowledge (to work with tables) but you don't need PHP coding knowledge. But If you have, you can use it and get it better. Very powerful, with little applications and with huge too. Very good customer support.

We've found PHPRunner to be excellent I've been using their products for over 10 years. they are constantly upgrading and provide excellent technical support. Ver 10 was unfortunately released too soon. If you are trying out the product, ask for a 9.8 trial version
