PHPRunner is by far the best web application development system I have come across and I've tried plenty. I'm a long time developer and programmer - starting back in the 80's. I've seen development platforms come and go over the years. PHPRunner is here to stay. It initially takes a little getting used to how it does things, how to and where to implement the things you need to but I've always found a way. Excellent support and an active forum with knowledgeable users always willing to help and share knowledge. Once you have figured out configuration and how to publish on whatever host you are choosing (which can be tricky because configuration for every host is slightly different) you can get a web driven database prototype in 15 minutes. Give it a day and you will have something that could easily be presented as a first version.

We've found PHPRunner to be excellent I've been using their products for over 10 years. they are constantly upgrading and provide excellent technical support. Ver 10 was unfortunately released too soon. If you are trying out the product, ask for a 9.8 trial version

15 years experience of phprunner I have only ever used high level languages (Basic and the early database scripts) so the fact that I have been able to create, maintain and enhance numerous data based applications on the web since 2006 when phprunner 3.1 was the current version speaks for itself. I am now using version 10.5 and find this very reliable and it has more facilities than I know how to utilise. In summary I'd say this was the perfect data based application generator for non programmers. And even for the latter they would be well advised to use it to build the core of an application.
