Talk with Steve Talk with Steve. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and explained my order clearly. The order process went smoothly. After conversation order placement went well. We will see how the delivery goes and how the equipment works after we get. The system was promise to ship in 2 business days, and all equipment will either be OEM box or OEM bulk.

I love the ability to pick good components I love the ability to pick which components to use in the PC build. PortaTech prices are very competitive and using the site to order is easy. I bought a system from them in June 2017, which is still working like a champ, so I am a returning customer from experience.

Don't expect it on time and don't expect what you actually ordered Well firstly it was late.. not a good start. Bigger problem though, It might look like their barebones systems have many choices, but they offer options that are incompatible. I chose a case / mobo combination that didn't work - but instead of calling me and discussing it they just switched out to a case that doesn't work for me. They sent me out another alternative case, that I also don't like that so looks like I'll end up buying ANOTHER one.. and then of course becoming a PC builder and the whole point was to avoid that. Arrived with one of the two front USB ports not working. Support was prompt but didn't offer me any option that satisfied me.

Love These Guys!!! This is my 4th or 5th machine I've bought from PortaTech, and I tell everyone looking for a computer to look here. It's great being able to pick a price point with their clear processor ratings, then customize it to what you want. Plus they burn them in, love that! I remember the days of ordering parts, then spending weeks having to test and return parts that didn't work.

I always admired the organized layout… I always admired the organized layout of this website. It was clearly a work of passion. My heartfelt sorrow for the family and friends of their founder.
