GBSame old same old...... Got fed up with Mcafee sending messages about renewal when I still had more than 2 months of my subscription to run so changed to Norton. Now i get messages from Norton that tell me all the things that are wrong with my Pc so click here to fix them and every time my current package is unable to do anything but I can upgrade to various other options for £44.95 or £26.95. So it appears i have bought a subscription that finds out if there is anything wrong and if i spend more money they might do something about it. Just another con really. Going to try TotalAV next time I am due for renewal presuming my machine hasn't been infested with viruses that Norton won't fix because I didn't spend enough money with them.

GBTry cancelling, comedy gold. Try cancelling your subscription like you would with a normal 2024 company. its impossible to just click a button and cancel. I dont want to speak to any one of your agents I just want to cancel. Auto renewal shouldn't be a default option that you cannot actually ever change. So off putting. I wanted to cancel auto renewal whilst I decided if I wanted to stay or not and now it's a swift no. Total con.

CAPeace of Mind So far, so good with Norton. Important that we, the consumers, do our part to education ourselves as well. Hope Norton keeps up with providing solid security.
