Love my PacketVipers! Absolutely an amazing product. Installed 2 of these in under 30 minutes, configuration was straight forward and very simply. Unlimited configuration possibilities! After blocking every country in the world except the US, CPU utilization on my cloud platform went down 35% from constant hack attempts, and now this traffic never reaches my network! PacketViper: Changing the IT Security Cycle Up to now, most of the existing IT security tools work on what happened, but very few on the prevention side. Under my point of view there are three main differentiating factors for the VP products: 1. Really user oriented tool, in such a way that a non-network security expert may undersand (and operate) on the information presented by the product. 2. Integrated technology: Although PV does not have a real competitor, there are other vendors that partially cover some of the functions. To get to the accuracy level of PacketViper requests in many cases more than one product to do the same. PacketViper covers the need of the business from small offices or departments to large companies. 3. Price competitive. Although when searching in IT security solution, this is not usually the first criteria, it certainly helps to get such functionalities at a reasonable price.
