You do not have to be a computer nerd… You do not have to be a computer nerd to use Ipswitch. The user interface for moving files couldn't be simpler. FIles can be moved by simply dragging them from a computer folder to a website folder or vice versa. Also, the Iipswitch help menu shows how easy it is to create scripts that upload or download files from a website to a computer and schedule the scripts to run once a day or every 5 minutes.

Purchasing process is bad Purchasing process is bad. Paying is easy, but information on retreiving the download for this product is not very clear. You must register to the community, whereupon you are supposed to find your purchased products on your Products page. Despite the message stating "Products for new contacts and online orders can take up to 1 hour to show under My Products" my purchased product has not shown up after waiting several hours. So on the whole, not very satisfying at all. In this digital age you could expect a smoother transaction.

Great product with many useful… Great product with many useful features. Service support is also exceled and very proactive in their investigation. I'm sure that we keep using their great product range in many years to come.

The FTP connects but only reads all and… The FTP connects but only reads all and every file on hmspress.ca as having 0 content, I cannot delete, upload or download any files to update the website. It used to work years ago but now on a secnd and third try it doesnot even accept my credentials or login information. Program is faulty and not useful to me anymore. Why does it not work. I can't quit you Ipswitch! I started using Ipswitch in 2004 while working as a webmaster and found the product to be very reliable with features to control large user groups and track files. Retirement started 5 years ago and recently, after being a bit bored, took on a volunteer webmaster position. My first choice, over all the free ftp apps, was and still is Ipswitch. Even though I am on a limited income, the money spent is well worth it. Ipswitch is a reliable, stable application that is easy to use and hard to forget.
