Only a charging cable...nothing more The quality of the item is great, and it works, but for CHARGING ONLY, very few smart phone users today use this port exclusively for charging, the cable does not DATA transfer. In my case, I purchased this cable to replace the standard cable in my car (the only place I still use a cable on my phone for Apple CarPlay, but it would not connect.

Caveat Emptor - Lighning Tips Poor Quality Worked fine for a few weeks, then my iPhone 7 started giving intermittent 'Device may not be supported'. Thought it might have been due to Apple updates, but none have dropped in the same period or immediately preceding the failure. Three Lightning tips did this same thing after about three weeks. Contacted Dope-Gadget (before their name change) and was sent three new tips. The first one of these failed today also, again, roughly three weeks after receipt. The cable works with other non-Lightning tips. And each new Lightning tip seems to work fine. Otherwise functional 240v to USB A charger used. My belief now is that these Lightning tips are of inferior quality and the unreliability is not worth the convenience offered by the magnetic cable. Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware).

Great concept! I love the concept of these magnetic chargers because they slow down the wear-and-tear on the charging ports of my devices. They do charge a little slower than the standard chargers sold by my wireless carrier, but it's only noticeable if I'm using apps on my phone while it's charging. The company has great customer service; the magnetic tip fell off one of my charging cables and they promptly sent a replacement cable, free of charge.

I bought 8 cables about 3 months ago I bought 8 cables about 3 months ago. 3 have already failed. On one the charging head fell off and the other two just would not connect. The remaining cables seem a bit hit and miss. Sometimes they connect straight away but mostly it requires some wiggling and rotating to get the connection to work. Overall I’m disappointed.

I bought a Magnilink 360 charging cable… I bought a Magnilink 360 charging cable starter pack. Product worked well for about 6 months, then charger end connector became sketchy, and f---d up the USB-C port on my laptop, too. Customer service unresponsive. Total scammers. Keep well away from them.
