GBThis company is definitely suspicious… This company is definitely suspicious of scams. My order was never delivered, I put multiple inquiries in via email, their online support form, multiple phone calls to multiple numbers on their website/email. No response. I still have received no communication after months of waiting, so I will be filing a chargeback with my credit card company.

GBAwful Awful - They let you spend your money - then if any problem - no phine number ( just answerphone on USA number ) UK number disconnected - the machine does not do what its advertised to do. They have not responded yet to my emails to them.

GBEctaco Partner Lux 3 I wanted this for my son who is studying in Poland. I paid a lot (as much as my trusty old Trano 8 years ago). It came from Poland, though the company denied this. I had to download instructions in English but although they appeared the same as the Polish, there was little guidance to explain the keyboard. It said on the box 'Polish' but I was unable to bring up Polish characters in the Polish to English mode. I passed it to IT friends who said there was a hardware problem After a long time waiting, customer services replied with a tech.dept. message saying I had to bring up the on-screen keyboard every time. Even so, when you speak to it, it still does not bring up Polish characters, only French and German. Now, having asked for an exchange unit from the States, Ectaco have gone quiet. Maybe Kate @ ectaco has quit...I gave my son my good old Trano which simply is a very good reversible dictionary in Polish and English and I guess I will have to post him the half-useless Ectaco as he could use some of the many features it possesses as long as he doesn't try to translate. Do not spend your hoard on this machine with its near-useless instruction manual and do not expect the company to tend to your needs once you have parted with your treasure.

AUTotal scam Total scam. Never received my order and no order status in my account. Multiple emails produced littel. One exception was a guy "Boris' who said they no longer stock the item I wanted. He offered me a discount on another product. That meant paying several hundred dollars more, but I declined. Why should I trust them with any more of my money? Sent several on-line requests but still nothing.
