GBSling tv wants you to pay $40-$55 for… Sling tv wants you to pay $40-$55 for something that just constantly loads, one min it’s working fine next you can’t watch your show cause it’s loading every sec. I can watch free apps that doest’t even do that!!! Then it’s alot of shows and movies that sling tv doesn’t have that the free apps do! I don’t understand why pay for this Bull!!

GBAwful customer service for tech issue The AirTV they sent me when I singed on stopped working to stream Sling. Multiple calls to customer service, and they won't offer a solution, a timeline, or replace the hardware they sent. One representative told me "By now you should own a smart TV." Unacceptable.

GBNo Free Trial, No Service, No resolution Having reviewed a number of streaming services I chose Sling TV but failed to notice there was no free trial offered. When I got signed up and started using the service I immediately noticed the resolution was constantly going really bad intermittently. I tried a few things, mostly with my router but nothing seemed to correct the problem. I then read some reviews and realized there were many reviews similar to my problems. I canceled the next day but was not able to get a refund. Do not sign up for Sling TV unless they offer a free trial.

GBUnable to watch oversease with VPN, terrible customer service! I live abroad and was never able to watch any SlingTV content after subscribing, even though I can regularly watch Amazon, Netflix, Disney, etc. with a VPN. Worst part was that I also couldn't access my account management to cancled. Emailed Sling immediately and received no reply. Later got charged again and contacted customer service by online chat. Waited a lot, went through two reps, and they still wouldn't cancel the original charge. Terrible customer service.

GBAbsolutely the worst streaming platform… Absolutely the worst streaming platform there is. I signed up for Sling because it was offered at a lower price point than Youtube TV and others. I soon found out why. They claimed to have a no contract, no commitment service. I used this to my advantage and would sometimes add or remove different services seasonally. For example, I added their sports package so I could watch NCAA basketball. When the season was over, I contacted them to drop the add-on service. The confirmation of this was a bit murky, but it seemed to be done. After a few months, I realized I was still being charged for it. I called to inform them of their mistake. Rather than being apologetic or taking any accountability, they went on the offensive. The basically told me tough luck. They informed me that Sling, unlike other services is a "prepaid service". And as such, no refunds could ever be given. I informed them that what they were saying made no sense. Every cable company and streaming platform operates basically in the same way. There's money coming in and there's money going out and there are people who usually, in any company, have the ability to resolve customer service issues and make customers happy and retain them. I said that was OK - forget the refund - just give me a future credit for the amount of their mistake and I would stay with them and we would call it even. They explained that this couldn't be done either. There are no credits. There are no loyalty credits. I explained that they were losing a customer FOR LIFE, and they could care less. I asked to be elevated to a supervisor and they refused. I would sooner eat broken glass than ever give Sling one penny ever again. I've informed my entire family that Sling is on the forever blacklist. Go with YouTube TV. It's a bit more expensive, but totally worth it.
