CAThis isn't a NordVPN issue This isn't a NordVPN issue, but I notice that websites are turning the tables. I find I often have to prove 'I'm human' or I have to pause protection to stream radio. I believe this is different sites efforts to push back against VPNs. From a functional VPN point of view, I find Nord to be great.

CAGreat VPN Always worked for me but has improved over the years. I've had Nord for over 5 years now, on different platforms, Windows, Android, iOS and macOS and while some features differ from platform to platform the general experience is the same, it works. Speeds are great, I barely lose any. It blocks some online threats. You can use different protocols, if you wish and has so many other features. The interface has improved as well over the years. I've had no reason to change VPN services.

GBDegrades normal network connection on Windows PC After 5+ years of using NordVPN, I guess it's time to try out some other VPNs out there Recently my PC connection quality dropped significantly. This was during my normal workflow, so while NOT using NordVPN. NordVPN client was not even loaded into the memory. Spending some time troubleshooting, it turned out the problem was related to NordVPN's network adapter as the connection recovered once I de-installed it from my PC. Too bad - it used to be a good product doing one thing. Trying to upsell all the different additional services and lack of transparency really doesn't help sticking to this VPN.

SENot useful in middle east Don't think about it if you want to use it to bypass internet filtering. I buy nordvpn to use it when I travel to countries with restrictions, especially middle-eastern ones. It simply doesn't work. I don't think their service is designed for such purposes, since you can find free VPNs on app store that work with great speed. The exact experience is: You try 20-30 different servers, none of them work (the auto select mode doesn't work). Once in a blue moon, one server might work, but the speed reminds you of the time that GPRS was king. You might think it's generally internet speed issue, but I used a random free service, and I could get decent speeds around 40Mbps. I created a ticket and they gave me address of several servers. After trying them for around an hour, none works. I want to warn people who are travelling, hoping nordVPN to work: be more prepared.

AUI recently travelled to Singapore and… I recently travelled to Singapore and was unable to access a few Australian sites using my Nordvpn account. I have encountered the same issues in South Korea and Japan. Don't even get me started on trying to access sites when in China.
