I have had no issues with email being sent to spam in both Gmail and Protonmail. Started with the 30 day free trial and have since updated to the $1 plan. I use one (of the two) mailboxes for my personal use, and the other is used as a "blackhole" for marketing emails and whatnot. Overall, it's been a great and painless experience.

Easy to use and setup service, clean and fast webmail interface, and cheap prices. You can also see their uptime stats on their status page. Great service overall. Only requests would be to perhaps implement WebDAV calendars and to allow sending emails from aliases.
