Story Structure and Templates I really like all the options for structuring a writing project in plottr. For a new writer, this is a really good tool so far. It is flexible enough to use my own structure (once I have one) but it is really great to be able to start with some idea of what a good novel should have in terms of flow and plot points. Not restrictive, but helpful.

Great for non-plotters I hate to plot and tend toward being a pantser. This gives me a plan and I love being able to keep track of time, places, etc via tags. I only gave it 4 stars because is a bit pricey for an unpublished author.

A Must In My Workflow Plottr is an essential tool in my writing toolbox. I use it writing my novels and with my serialized fiction stories for Kindle Vella. The timeline allows me to view events within my story at a moment's notice. I use the Notes section to help me keep track of story questions I may have later, things to watch for when rewriting, etc. The characters and places sections are especially helpful for keeping a story bible. Pair it with AI imaging from sites like MidJourney, Dall-e 3, etc, and I can see my worlds brought to life. What I truly love is the personalization options available to users. I doubt any two people use Plottr the same. I have my own color-coding system to go along with my tags. This allows me to not only organize my stories as I want to see them but also to filter easily. I have used Plottr since 2020 and haven't regretted spending a single penny on it. It's one of the few monetary investments I've made in writing that I can say that about.

I like Plottr I like Plottr, but I'm not certain I love it. Then again, I'm not certain I am using it most effectively. I run my chapters along the top grid and my key characters down the left. I write in Plottr then cut and paste it into Word. I would like a character tree of some kind that would allow me to easily view relationships between the characters, parents, kids, friends, bosses, co-workers, etc.

Useful app with bonus A very useful program to structure your book or novel etc. Furthermore a friendly customer service and active, helpful community for users. In addition also workshops, summits and seminars on plotting and writing in general. A highly recommended app for authors of any kind.
