About Resound

Resound is the AI podcast editor for creators. It automated things like detecting filler sounds (ums and ahs), long silences, and much more on the way. Resound's mission is to automate post-production so creators can focus on their message, not their mess-ups. Built by the same team behind Culpable and 15 other #1 shows in Apple Podcasts.

Apple Level Interface Design Hi Jacob, I have a heavily academic oriented podcast (Nèg Mawon podcast) that is in the top ten percent most shared in the world for 2022, according to Spotify. I love Resound! I’ve saved a lot of hours from manually removing all the Aahs and umms during post-production editing. I used to spend over 4hrs or more removing verbal fillers from 1 episode. Now, thanks to Resounds, it ranked me about 30 minutes max for a hour length episode. And that’s because I choose to manually go through all the fillers Resound identified automatically. If I decided to just click delete from Resound’s identified fillers, it would take me 15 seconds! The UI/UX is near Apple design level in terms of simplicity. I didn’t need to read any of your documentations to get started. The interface just makes sense—clean yet powerful. The founder said that Resound is not going to be one of those all in one solutions. I appreciate that. Staying focused on your core competencies is a smart move. Define worth getting!

Incredible Podcast Editor I have been producing a podcast for over a year and have been the sole editor. Figuring out the nuances of fine-tuning my audio has been fun but very time-consuming. So, I gave Resound a shot, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. This innovative tool is a game-changer for podcasters looking to streamline their editing process. While it's still in the early stages of development, what is already available is more than enough to start immediately using for your editing process. Even supplmentary. One of Resound's standout features is its exceptional time-saving capabilities through keyboard shortcuts and auto-detection of filler sounds and silence. The functionality behind this app is truly impressive, as it automates many tedious editing tasks that would otherwise consume hours of my time. With Resound, I can focus on creating quality content without being bogged down by manual editing processes. In addition to its time-saving benefits, the Resound Editor boasts a user-friendly interface that is super smooth to work with. Navigating through the app is intuitive, and the controls are well-designed for maximum efficiency. Whether you're a seasoned podcaster or a beginner, you'll appreciate how easy it is to use this app. Overall, I highly recommend Resound to anyone in the podcasting community. It is an incredible time-saver and a super user-friendly app that simplifies editing without compromising quality. If you want to take your podcast to the next level, look no further than Resound. They are adding new features on the regular and expanding so rapidly that I expect they'll directly compete with Descript in no time and for a more reasonable price!

Listeners noticed a difference immediately I put out one new episode using Resound and asked listeners to tell me if things sounded any different. I normally get zero responses to 'contact me' requests through my podcast, but for this, I did have people reach out and say, "YES, this sounds great". The 'umm' and long pause detector is easy and super quick to use and adjust which leads to a much more professional sounding episode in just minutes. One star off because there are a couple of glitches that sometimes pop up as I'm editing, but everything is autosaved as you go so I never lose anything! I feel the company is responsive to making improvements and will get the small glitches ironed out soon.

Exellent quick, and reliable audio processor This is pretty decent. Upload of a 3GB video file was quick - maybe a few minutes. Processing was quick too. I upaldoed video mp4 file and downloaded mp3 audio file. Used Camtasia to stitch video with the enchanted audio. The audio is clear, I previously used Remaster Media to mix and manually alter the audio to sound better = but this was much quicker. Looking forward to when this can work fully with videos too! And not just audio.

This program saves me so much time This program saves me so much time. I really love it. My only issue is that it has a tendency to freeze, so suddenly I am not able to edit on.. most of the times, I have just waited a while and then everything was fine
