for me the perfect report generator I am using this tool since version 4 and I am very happy with it. Currently I am using FR 6 in many projects. Alternatively I am also using ReportBuilder, but Fast-Report for me is much more flexible than RB is. Using the same component for static text, database values etc. is for me one of the key features that makes Fast-Report unique to me. Currently I struggle a bit with "end user reporting" but together with the quick and competent support I am sure, this will be solved immediately. Fast Report does exactly what I need and it does it REALLY fast.

Fast Reports VCL experience over 10 years I've used Fast Reports VCL for 10 years now. It was purchased to provide numerous corporate reports and certified Timesheets in multiple native and web applications. I was able to utilize its stable and robust reporting engine to produce pixel accurate report forms. Whenever I had any issue, the tech support was responsive and very helpful with advice and code examples to solve my problems. I've since moved on to reproducing many of these reports utilizing the .NET version of Fast Reports. I'm finding that experiece to be just as good as the VCL version. Overall, I am very satisfied with Fast Reports VCL.

I have been using fastreport for a long… I have been using fastreport for a long time, from the first version until today fastreport is the only library that meets the needs of developing reports for my clients. Because reports can be easily designed and issue reports quickly It can be used both on desktop and as a web app. The support team is quick. I love fastreport.

I have used Fast Report for years now I have used Fast Report for years now. I migrated from another report writing platform (Rave) a long time ago. I find Fast report really flexible and I have done really interesting stuff. A lot my reports use colour coded results as this makes the bad results stand out. Many of my report are dynamic and follow user input. A user can set the results parameters they want to see on the report. Then the report prints the report with colour coded results in a grid format. This allows the user to get want is needed to their client in terms of rich "heat mapped" data which assists asset owners to make informed decisions. The other very important feature that I have used is the rich text field in which I have embedded graphics and highlighted text. This makes the application hit with the user. Fast Reports is easy to use and has the ability to be used at a high level, but also get down to building very dynamic reports that follow data rather than been fixed and static. Being able to build reports in code is my favorite.

Since 2014 we have been using… Since 2014 we have been using FastReport.Net WinForm. First of all, this library is very simple and functional. With the option to save reports as different, we can access both Excel and PDF outputs. The only shortcoming is that the interface could be more modern and include more features, just like Telerik, DevExpress. I'm sure this team will make these improvements in a short time. Everything is great.
