My wife's computer was 3 days old. My wife’s computer had to be returned to Dell for replacement due to a touchscreen failure less than a week after receiving it. I installed Office, but never used it on her computer. I was not able to get another activation key code for the replacement computer. Software keys did offer a discount on a repurchase but would not recognize this unique situation to provide another key at N/C. If you ever need to repair your computer or reload the software, you will need to repurchase the office program to get another key.
