Bad user experience and efforts to cover it up The site looked well-designed and appealing, so I bought a Hobbyist subscription for $12 on June 24, 2023. However, after the purchase, I soon discovered that some of the site's functions did not work correctly. The most important feature, the downloading process did not work; the site "prepared the downloading..." but never actually finished it. I tried around 30 times and only managed one successful download. After this, I canceled my sub and wrote a short and aggressive letter to the site operators. They reassured me they knew about the problems ("we were experiencing some technical difficulties") and had already solved them, besides that they initiated a full refund. At this point, the story should end. However, A23D first flagged my 1-star review as illegal and harmful to try to hide it, then wrote a second letter stating that the mentioned technical problems never existed in the first place. The flagging was nonsense, so Trustpilot restored my review, and A23D changed its tactics by replying here. The reply directly contradicted the content of the first letter they sent to me. I don't know if the downloading problem got fixed because I no longer have a subscription. As of today, July 02, 2023, the search function still does not function correctly on non-chromium-based browsers such as Firefox. Having a really good experience using Having a really good experience using decals and textures. I use decals a lot for mixed reality projects at my company. I started using monthly subscription plan and now I am using yearly. Soon I might shift to muti user teams plan as well.
