They reside in FL and I was not able to assist them as much as they needed via telephone only. Help Wire provides me the ability to assist them "Hands ON" virtually. Absolutely excellent product Absolutely excellent product, and in as much as I can tell at the moment (I've used it three times with customers so far) is completely free. I now use it instead of my paid-for licence for Teamviewer which is now subscription-only and far too expensive. I use Helpwire for ad-hoc remote suppoert of Windows PCs, and it's really good. very simple to use - send the other end a link, which when they chick on it connects them strainght to me - no numbers and stuff, the link is customised and unique to connect them to me. It asks for their permission each time, and if they give it, I can see their screen and move/click their mouse, and type. I haven't tried file transfer yet, or admin access to the reote computer, but I believe they are possible. And that's it - simple, easy, and straightforward. I guess It's not easy so write a remore access program that works in such an uncomplicated and apparently easy way, so well done Helpwire. I shall keep using it unless something happens (e.g. it stops being free) to stop me.
